Ronald G. Maheu, President & CEO

Ron Maheu is the President & CEO of PharmaCommunications Group Inc. His extensive career within the Canadian pharmaceutical industry includes experience on both the manufacturer and supplier sides of the industry, in a wide variety of positions. Prior to founding PharmaCommunications™ in 1982, he was employed with a major multi-national pharmaceutical manufacturer where he held a number of different positions in sales, sales management, and marketing management. Since founding PharmaCommunications™, he has focused his efforts on the development of innovative and cost effective solutions to modern pharmaceutical marketing challenges. He attended Loyola of Montreal and the Sir George Williams Campus of Concordia University, and holds B.Sc., B.Comm., and M.B.A. degrees.


Nicole F. Archambault, Vice-President & COO

Nicole Archambault is Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of PharmaCommunications Group Inc. Her career within the Canadian pharmaceutical and health information industry spans more than 20 years, and includes a significant background in national and multi-national issues in finance, administration, and privacy. Prior to joining PharmaCommunications™, she held the positions of Vice-President, Finance & Administration and Vice-President, Corporate Development with one of the world’s largest health information companies. Nicole attended the Université du Québec à Montréal, and The Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. She holds an M.B.A. degree in International Business.


Samir Ray MBBS, Medical Director

Dr. Samir Ray is Medical Director of the Medication Information Center division of PharmaCommunications Group Inc. His extensive medical career spans more than twenty years and involves both clinic and hospital postings in numerous countries. He joined our group in July 1999 as a Medical Consultant, and over the subsequent 5 years was a significant contributor to the establishment of Medication Information Center™ services in Canada. He was appointed Medical Director of the company in July 2003. He attended Dhaka Medical College and holds an M.B.B.S. degree. He has passed the U.S. M.L.E. and was certified by the E.C.F.M.G. (U.S.A.) in 1998.


Albert Arloo, Manager of Information Technology

Albert Arloo is Manager of Information Technology for PharmaCommunications Group Inc. His Information Technology career spans more than 7 years, including five years as a Project Leader in the development of scalable applications and technology improvements for medium sized corporations, as well as two years of systems and database administration. In addition to industry postings, Albert has held teaching and consulting positions with the Information Technology field in both Canada and the United States. He joined our group in 2002 as Database Administrator, and in August of 2004 was promoted to Manager of Information Technology. Albert attended Vladimir State University in Russia and holds an M.Sc. in Engineering along with certifications as a Microsoft Systems Engineer and a Sun Solaris Systems Administrator.


Joanne Bookman, Operations Manager

Joanne Bookman is the Operations Manager of PharmaCommunications Group Inc. Joanne joined PharmaCommunications™ in August of 2004 as Production Manager and oversaw the completion of all client direct marketing projects. In October of 2008, she was appointed Operations Manager, when she added our Montréal Call Centre to her area of management, gaining overall responsibility for the successful delivery of our entire range of Health Loyalty™ marketing services to our pharmaceutical, medical, and consumer healthcare clients. Joanne’s career includes more than 12 years of Program Management and Production Management experience, including an extensive background in direct mail, telemarketing and fulfillment. Fully bilingual, Joanne attended Dawson College in Montréal where she studied Social Sciences.


Ashley M. Rycroft, Director of Client Services

Ashley Rycroft is Manager, Client Services of PharmaCommunications Group Inc. Ashley joined the PharmaCommunications™ team in October 2009 and is responsible for coordinating our relationships with our pharmaceutical, medical, and consumer healthcare customers in both Toronto and Montréal. Her major role is ensuring that our clients receive the very best in service excellence, and that all of our projects surpass expectations for both service delivery and brand growth. Prior to joining our group, Ashley was a member of the account team of a major Healthcare Communications Agency where she was responsible for a number of pharmaceutical and healthcare accounts. Fully bilingual, Ashley attended McGill University and holds B.Sc. (Hon.) and M.Sc. degrees.


Ian Hernandez, Manager of Call Centre Services

Ian Hernandez is the Manager, Call Centre Services of PharmaCommunications Group Inc. and is responsible for the management of our Medication Information Center™ Call Centre in downtown Montréal. Ian joined us in July 2011 from a major healthcare call centre operation where he developed a thorough understanding of dealing with both patients and healthcare professionals. Fully bilingual, Ian also has several years of experience as a Customer Service Representative, Training Coordinator, and Client Services Manager within both industry and call centre settings. He attended Concordia University, and holds a B.A. with majors in Political Science and Economics.
